To find your way round Haslingfield, please see the Map of Haslingfield, with the locations marked.

Please note that the Village Hall Car Park will be closed on Saturday because some events and stalls will be there.
If you live in Haslingfield, please leave your car at home, and off the road if possible.
If you are visiting us, there will be limited parking at the School and the Methodist Church.

All weekend

SCARECROWS There will be scarecrows displayed in gardens and public areas throughout Haslingfield over the festival weekend. Explore the smaller side roads, and maybe stop of tea and cakes at various stalls. See below for the options.
Vote for your favourite scarecrow. The categories are "Most Regal", "Funniest", "Scariest" and "Most Creative"
PHOTO EXHIBITION John Beresford will be showing photographs of the village inhabitants taken around 1926.

Saturday 11th June

Note that the Village Hall Car Park will be closed from 11:30am for festival events.

A licenced bar provided by the Little Rose public house will be near the Village Hall car park from 14:00 to 22:30.

12:15 Methodist Church Fancy Dress Parade - from the Methodist Church along the High Street to the Rec, led by a chestnut pony.
13:00 Recreation Ground Picnic - please bring food, drink, chairs, rugs etc.
13:50 Village Hall Car Park Adults' Round the Village Race - sorry this has been cancelled.
14:00 Recreation Ground Children's craft, crown and cupcake decorating
14:30-15:30 Village Hall Judging of Decorated Cakes Competiton, followed by cake eating with afternoon tea.
15:00 Recreation Ground Children's races and football activities for all ages (run by Haslingfield Colts)
16:00 Village Hall Car Park Ice cream van by Toni's Ices
16:00 Village Hall Tea and cake served by Karen Reade and her team
16:30 Recreation Ground Prize giving for Adults Race and Cake decorating competition.

10:30 Recreation Ground

Village Service celebrating Queen and Community - bring chairs/rugs. The service will reflect on the ways in which the queen serves our country. Also how we serve each other, particularly through the village groups and activities. A collection will be taken for village charities.
11:00 - 14:00 Recreation Ground Little Owl Cafe will be providing a barbeque and refreshments after the village service.
Bacon butties, burgers, hotdogs, cakes, ices and drinks.
12:00 - 16:00 Wellhouse Meadow
(access via Broad Lane)
Titania, Queen of the Fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream,will hold court.
Also the 18th century bakehouse, the 2 seater privy and the wellhouse will be open. An interesting look into the history of Haslingfield not often seen.
Supervised by the Village Society.
14:00-16:00 All Saints' Church Vintage style afternoon tea will be served. Heavenly refreshment and live music.
14:00-16:00 15 Back Lane and other venues Tea and cakes will be served.
