Scarecrows. There will be scarecrows displayed in gardens and public areas throughout Haslingfield over the festival weekend. Explore the smaller side roads, and maybe stop off for tea and cakes at various stalls. Vote for your favourite scarecrow on the online voting form |
Free Coach Rides. Tim Phillips will be offering a free ‘hail and ride’ service around the village loop in one of his classic coaches – see http://www.cambridgeclassiccoaches.co.uk/ It will be a hop-on, hop-off, untimetabled service. If you see the coach coming and want to get on, put your arm out. To get off, just ask the driver! Please note: Tim’s vehicles are over 40 years old and so are not what would be described as ‘accessible’ in today’s language. However there will be no hurry and help is at hand. Unfortunately wheelchair-users cannot be accommodated but we can take wheelchairs in the lockers if you can manage a few steps without. |
