The winners of the 2022 scarecrow competition

Over the weekend of the festival, there was an online voting system which allowed people to vote for their favourite scarecrow. There was a prize for the scarecrow with the most votes. Also there was a prize for a lucky voter chosen at random.

The Winner The winner of the scarecrow competition is the chameleon on Barton Road. A prize is on its way to you.
Notice the fly hanging from a string with real wings.
Second place Second place goes to the cat on the lamppost, with the mice catapulting tomatoes at it. High Street.
Difficult to see from this photo, but the cat is about 20 feet up in the air.

An excellent entry from last festival’s winners.

An excellent model of the two presenters.
CommendedCommended for the fantastic coloured cat representing looking on the “Bright Side”. School Lane.
This was just beautiful and fun.
CommendedCommended for “Boris in the Bin”. New Road.
We wondered where Boris is, we have not seen him for some time!
